Hotel BOH: Modernize elevator nos. BRS1, BRS2, EP1 and EP2 with new MRL gearless machines, new controllers, positioning system, door operators and equipment, hall door equipment, signals and fixtures, hoistway wiring, cab components and recondition other equipment as specified.

Hotel BOH: Modernize elevator no. BRF1 with new gearled machine, new controller, positioning system, door operators and equipment, hall door equipment, signals and fixtures, hoistway wiring, cab components and recondition other equipment as specified.

Communication circuit: Telephone circuit terminated at junction box of each controller.

Motor Drive Units: Provide New, Regenerative

Provide for elevators as scheduled. When power is lost in a building, the unit will disconnect the elevator system from the building power source. It will then power up its inverter and provide battery generated three (3) phase power to the elevator controller.

Provide Phase 1 recall switch at main floor elevator lobby and fire control life safety room. Key switches at main floor shall be integrated in hall button station hoistway entrance jamb with engraved instructions.

Elevator No. ALL: Provide new heavy-duty master type solid state closed loop door operators mounted on car enclosure utilizing minimum 12-guage support angles to isolate from direct mounting of operator on the car top.

Elevator Nos. below: Provide new extruded sills with non-slip surfaces and grooves suitable for guides. Extend strut to strut and mount with concealed fasteners.

Corporate Center #1-4: Provide add for one (1) new 12.1 inch Elite Display in each cab. Provide a USB port in the service cabinet for content load up.

For traction machines, employ a Structural Engineer to study the machine room floor and wall support. Any machines beams can be added.

Provide split unit AC for #CTP1 machine room. Assume the remaining machine rooms are properly cooled.

Governor Ropes: Provide New

Provide a dual ring and string, continuously monitoring type counterweight displacement device for each counterweight with rings mounted on each corner of frame. Provide a seismic switch device measuring both horizontal and vertical accelerations for each group of elevators.

Elevator No. ALL: Retain existing oil buffers. Replace seals, clean ram and apply machinist blue dye, readjust to car buffer plates, drain and flush out all oil tanks, clean down, refill and test with full load at contract speed.

Elevator No. ALL: Retain existing, realign, correct balance, clean down and tighten frame bolts. Provide retainer plates to meet seismic code requirements.

Provide new ascending car protection that detects an ascending car over-speed condition at a speed not greater than 10% higher than the speed at which the car governor is set to trip.
